Mr. Sargent, The people detained at 'Gitmo' belong to the same group (in one way or another) that captured and killed French S.O.F. in North Africa whom were attempting to free innocent, non-combatant, peace-promoting Europeans captured by Al Queida sects.

I agree that the DOD can cut back on training spending when it comes to things like flight hours. Especially given the technology at hand in modern-day simulators.

The people of this generation are less mentally tough and less intelligent than past generations. Our technology and lack of accountability for anything have taken failure out of the equation. Failure builds character and allows us to cope with disappointment.

I don't believe anyone has ever said that drug, firearm and violent crimes have ever been "a black man's crime." At least nobody with any intellect. If anyone were to actually conduct any viable research, they'd find that petty crime escalates with the plummeting economy.
